Content is King but content can be REALLY expensive. We didn't have the budget to run branded content with a more well known publication (NYT or Mashable) so we ran it with A&P for about 1/10 what the bigger guys were charging and then we sent qualified traffic to it for conversions. Saw strong acquisitions for about 6 weeks before it dried up. Good campaign.

I've run several campaigns with Alister & Paine Magazine over the past two years and have gotten great results. They put a lot of time and pride into their articles--the photography is especially good and my clients love the custom articles. They've gotten more expensive, I think they're asking $15k per Sponsored Article now. They should probably be around the $10k mark, but still a really good rate for what you get. Clients love it and they've always over-delivered on the IO.

Will offer publicity plan for product services, then will ghost on you after they have gotten the product with no publicity in site. Do not work with them.
