    MEDIA KIT About Ann I Am! Blogging started as a hobby for me when my children were young and I was a stay-at-home mother following a professional career. After reading Goodnight Moon a million times and spending days where 80% of my conversations involved talking at the level a 2 year-old could comprehend, I feared my brain was turning into the bowl of mush Margaret Wise Brown writes about in her book. A friend of mine suggested I write a blog. Blog? What was a blog? I had no idea at that point. But she guided me on how to get started and I went. In 2007 when I started blogging, it was really just a hobby for me. But some things were evident back then. I am honest. I love deals. I am knowledgeable about finances and saving money. I love trying new products. I love giving my opinions (understatement). I was already testing products and voicing my opinions for BzzAgent and previously had been a mystery/secret shopper. When I heard about opportunities to give my opinions about other products via my blog, I jumped at the chance. This gives me the opportunity to help other people make informed decisions about where to spend their money. I also have fun trying new things. So, over time, my blog evolved and gained more direction. Which, if you knew me, wouldn’t be any great surprise I am very self-motivated, eager and enjoy working. Blogging allows me to still be a great mother, yet still have something of my own. As my children have gotten older and I am able to dedicate more time to my blog, my following has grown significantly and continues to grow. My following is comprised primarily of females between the ages of 25 and 34, with a some college and children. I am versed in many avenues of social media, including, but not limited to, Twitter, Networked Blogs, Facebook and LinkedIn. I am also an active member in several mom blogging and social networking communities. Stats and Such Mom bloggers have great influence when it comes to marketing products. The power of “mommy bloggers” was clearly demonstrated in the blogging campaigns they did for Zhu Zhu Pets, creating an overnight sensation for the toy that no one had heard about just months before. In fact, the way I discovered them was by reading about them on many blogs. I average over 5,000 visits a month. I currently have a Google Page Rank of 3. I have thousands of followers on Google+, GFC, Networked Blogs, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter as well as hundreds of email subscribers (exact numbers can be found in the right sidebar). All my posts are automatically shared on Facebook, Twitter, Networked Blogs and Google +. I am also a member of many blogging groups. Stats were updated on 3/24/14.
