The Gold Standard

Aperture has always published great cloth bound works from great photographers: Bill Brandt, André Kertész, Josef Koudelka, Sebastião Salgado, and my favorite Edward Weston. Now you don't have to tire yourself with gigantic books. I even see Joel Meyerowitz and Sally Mann works in Aperture 2.0 reboot. They are still around. Great. I would love to see interviews from the artists and have them share with us how they see the invisible. Aperture will set the gold standard in the digital age. A most definitely must read magazine. Cool app

This is a great way to keep up-to-date on everything going on at Aperture. They publish brand-new excerpts from the books and magazine and then also have articles, interviews and reviews all alongside great photos. And every issue is free!

Just a come-on

This app presents a brief synopsis of an article and then tries to sell you a subscription to the paper rag. Save your time

So much content

I'm a huge fan of the print version of Aperture magazine and the mobile version does not disappoint. Interesting articles and interviews every other week — perfect for keeping up with Aperture between issues of the quarterly magazine.
