Only 1 available This banner ad is 450 pixels wide by 150 tall, and is in the spot directly next to our logo. It appears on all pages. This is the biggest ad you can purchase! We are offering this for $375 a month with a 1 year commitment (more about that in a second) or for $425 on a month to month basis. your_ad_here_468x60 The second option: Leaderboard - 10 spots available These banner ads are 468 pixels wide by 60 tall, and are available in a number of areas throughout the blog, including on top of articles and on the main page of the blog. We can cater the placement of your banner to be more content oriented depending on your target market, if applicable. These spots are up for $225 with a 1 year commitment, or for $275 monthly. alina-shae-creations The third option: Small Sidebar Ads - unlimited spots available These guys are the ones you see sitting in the right hand sidebar. They measure in at 250 pixels wide by 112 pixels tall. They are perfect for large or small businesses, and flash or rotating banners are allowed for a small surcharge. Available pricing at $125 with a one year commitment, or $175 monthly. So why the different pricing? We decided to take a different approach to our advertisement pricing for a few different reasons. One reason is that we want to offer a discount to businesses that are interested in sticking with us through thick and thin. We recognize that advertising can be a leap of faith sometimes, and we appreciate the fact that you have chosen us to invest in. We believe in partnering with businesses that we believe in. If you’ve done any comparison shopping online recently, you’ll know that our prices are currently half what similar websites are asking for advertising. As we grow – and believe us, we are growing on average 20% or more a month – your ad will grow with us. If you choose to advertise with us now, we will not increase the rate of your advertisement for the designated term. The big reason that we are offering monthly vs yearly loyalty rates is this: AshevilleBlog is currently funded out of our own pockets. Like we mentioned before, our staff is all unpaid and doing what we love simply because we love doing it. Being able to achieve some funding and plan ahead will allow us to pour that money back into the blog so that we can market more local businesses, attend more events, upgrade our work equipment to bring better value and better work, which means a better experience for our end users.
