We do not allow just any breeder to post puppies on our site, but have a thorough, systematic process that screens the breeders and health checks every puppy before they come home to you. We believe we have one of the most stringent Breeding Standards in the industry and approve less than 15% of those that apply to our network! Once approved, we randomly visit our breeders to ensure they adhere to our policies and also follow up regarding the health of the puppies, with families who bring home a puppy from one of our breeders. We require our puppies undergo a health screening (which is conducted by the breeder's veterinarian) before they come home to you. The breeders' veterinarian is required to fill out a comprehensive health evaluation report that has been created by a licensed veterinarian. We require this report to be completed as close to the date of your puppy coming home to you, so as to ensure your puppy's health evaluation is a recent one.
