Baltimore Fishbowl was created in 2011 by editor & publisher Susan G. Dunn, who also founded PaperDoll magazine. She was a Knight Digital Media Fellow in 2011. Rachel Monroe is the senior editor. Rachel received her MFA in fiction from the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars, where she taught writing for several years. Her writing has been published in the New York Times, the Baltimore City Paper, The Hairpin, Al Jazeera, and more. She was a Fulbright scholar in Morocco, 2006 – 2007.

Steve Babcock is our associate editor. Steve served as the managing editor of the NOLA Defender for four years. He has a degree in journalism from Northeastern University.

Writer Betsy Boyd is the literary editor. She teaches writing at the University of Baltimore. Please submit creative non-fiction for our Real Life Modern Family section to Betsy at betsy@baltimorefishbowl.com.
