Carolina Arts is now an online only publication. Ad Rates & Sizes (effective as of 1/1/11) Carolina Arts is an arts newspaper which is published monthly covering the visual arts in North and South Carolina. Circulation: Constantly changing, averaging over 100,000 most months. Standard Ad Sizes, pricing per month. NOTE: All sizes are given as width by height - width first. Our Gallery Guide Map ad size is (1 col. x 1 7/8") or ( 2 3/8"wide x 1 7/8"high. If you need the decimals it's 2.375 x 1.875. The cost of this size is $10. per month and does not have to go on a page with one of our maps. Our standard 1/16 page ad, available in two sizes: 1col. x 3 7/8" [ 2 3/8" x 3 7/8" (2.375 x 3.875)] or 2 col. x 1 7/8" [4 29/32" x 1 7/8" (4.917" x 1.875")]. A 1/16 page ad is $15. Our standard 1/8 page ad works the same way. A 1/8 page ad can be one of three sizes: 1 col. x 7 7/8" [2 3/8" x 7 7/8" (2.375" x 7.875")], 2 col. x 3 7/8" [ 4 29/32" x 3 7/8" (4.917" x 3.875")], or 4 col. x 1 7/8" (10" x 1 7/8"). Our price for using these standard sizes is $25. Our standard 1/4 page ads work the same way. You have a choice of three sizes: 1 col. x 16" ( 2 3/8" x 16" or 2.375" x 16"), 2 col. x 7 7/8" [4 29/32" x 7 7/8" (4.917" x 7.875")], or 4 col. x 3 7/8" (10" x 3.875"). Our price for a 1/4 page ad is $35. Our standard 1/2 page ad gives you two choices on size: 2 col. x 16" [4 29/32" x 16" (4.917" x 16")] or 4 col. x 7 7/8" [10" x 7 7/8" (10" x 7.875")]. The cost of a 1/2 page ad is $60. The full page ad rate ( 4 col. x 16" or 10" x 16") is $100. In Copy Ready Ads we prefer them to be outlined EPS files or PDFs with the fonts embedded and subset to 95%. We need a press quality PDF with all images/logos at 300ppi.We are are not web-based, but a downloadable PDF, so the resolution matters. The EPS or PDF can be e-mailed to: (info@carolinaarts.com). We do not take publisher files! We are unable to open or use them. Please call if this is the only option you have, we can work with you to get your ad in a compatible format. Our advertising deadline is on the 24th of the month prior to the next published issue for copy-ready ads, press releases and gallery listing info. If you need us to put an ad together for you, we need to get your ad information (images, logos, etc.) by the 20th.
