  • Key Differentiator
    The Daily Toreador, Texas Tech’s student-run newspaper, publishes Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters and Tuesdays and Fridays during summer sessions. The DT, as it is known on campus, has never missed a scheduled day of publication since its inception in 1925. The student editorial and advertising staffs are responsible for all content within the paper and on the website. The newspaper also serves as a designated public forum for members of the campus community to voice their opinions free from administrative control or censorship. While most of our student employees are mass communications majors, it is not a requirement and The DT is completely separate from any academic department at Tech. Students are paid for their work, with the exception of columnists and cartoonists who are volunteers. The DT is a part of the Department of Student Media, which also produces La Ventana, Texas Tech’s official yearbook. The Department of Student Media is a part of the Division of Undergraduate Education and Student Affairs.

Horrible App

You can see pictures and one headline for each section but nothing comes up when you click on the headline. I have always been proud of the publications at Tech but this is a sorry attempt at what could be a good app.
