I’m Kate, a lifestyle blogger in Oxfordshire. I’m a working mum trying to make the best use of time so I can make a family home and have time to develop my own interests.

I work as an environmental consultant and project manager and live in an old care home, complete with lift, we are renovating in to our family home. write about my key interests; self development, productivity, house renovation, diary writing, photographs and scrapbooking. And of course my children may make an appearance now and again.

The rest of the family:

My husband ED is a chartered mechanical engineer and enjoys sailing, Land Rovers (although hasn’t had one for years), gaming miniatures, DIY and occasional triathlons.

Obviously due to my project manager planning skills, both children arrived within 6 hours of their due dates, however poor planning means their birthdays are on consecutive days in November!

B was born in 2008 and despite our best efforts is a stereotypical girl who loves princesses, fairies, pinks and sparkle, although doesn’t mind digging in the garden either. She does swimming, ballet and gymnastic lessons and enjoys reading, colouring, dancing, cooking and recently asked for a horse so she can ride to school!

M was born in 2011 and is a typical boy who loves tractors and trains, but also enjoys music, dancing, tools and cooking. He does swimming and rugby lessons.

Like me, they both love computers and gadgets!
