Thanks for visiting Fabulously Broke in the City! Believe it or not, I really appreciate it :) If you want to leave a comment, suggest links & topics or request a specific post/topic,please use the contact form below to send me a note (if you want me to know who you are, and to reply personally). Easiest way to ask me a quick question though is using Twitter @brokeinthecity. :) If you liked the blog (yay!), please subscribe to my RSS Feed, check out my Link Love Shared Items RSS Feed, read some of my favourite posts here or browse through my blogroll. Or if you use an Android phone, you can get the Fabulously Broke in the City Android feed right on there. The #1 question seems to be what I do for a living and how someone can become a consultant too. The answer is: I’m a business consultant. I solve problems. If you want to be a consultant, ask yourself: What skills do I have to offer to companies that they will pay for? And will it be worth more for me to take contracts than to just get a full-time or part-time job? If you draw a blank, or find that your skills are not easily transferable into a project-like setting, then you might want to reconsider. I wrote a short post: Consulting from my perspective — FAQ. The #2 question seems to be for guest posting on this blog. The answer is: Sorry, I don’t accept guest posts at this time, but thanks for thinking about my blog. All requests will be politely ignored. I will however, consider guest posting for you on YOUR personal, non-commercial blog. :)
