Michelle Dalton Tyree, Founder/Chief Trend Curator Fashion Trends Daily is the brainchild of Michelle Dalton Tyree. Featured as an LA style guru by eBay’s digital style magazine The Inside Source, Michelle Dalton Tyree is an expert trend forecaster, fashion editor and luxury retail consultant. In addition to founding Fashion Trends Daily, L.A.’s premier fashion news Web site, she is also at the helm of Blab Communications, a retail and trend consultancy, which specializes in advising clients on the luxury retail sector. Michelle is the former West Coast retail editor for Women’s Wear Daily and Fashion Editor of the Japan Times in Tokyo, as well as co-founder of L.A. luxury boutique Iconology. At the time, Iconology was lauded for not only deftly mixing designer offerings from fashion darling such as Karl Lagerfeld and Oscar de la Renta along with contemporary brands such as J brand, Inhabit and more, but also for its comprehensive marketing approach, which included highly successful events with both designers and bold-faced names in the entertainment industry. In addition to writing for WWD and The Japan Times, Michelle has also written for Allure, Worth Global Style Network, Footwear News and more and served as a senior fashion writer for Nordstrom.com. During her career, Michelle has interviewed everyone from Manolo Blahnik, Oscar de la Renta and Pierre Berge to Reed Krakoff, Ronald Winston, Steve Wynn and many more. But, she’ll never divulge her favorite! Christopher Luu, Senior Writer and Menswear Editor Part-time supernatural style investigator and full-time trend-spotter, Luu knew he was destined to cover style after seeing French class as a way to better decipher Vogue’s bon mots.
