I was bred and raised in the Philippines for a third of my life. Surrounded by family and friends, lived in relative upper-middle class comforts (sans our own bathroom), grew to love nature and simple living in the province, and learned to adapt to a bustling city life in Manila – I was quite a happy kid. Uprooted after graduating elementary school (that’s 6th grade), I boarded a plane for the first time and flew for 15 hours over the Pacific Ocean. I threw up a few times and my ear hurt. With a layover in Hawaii, I slept at McDonald’s and don’t remember much else of the rest of the flight to LAX. I started blogging two years ago under another domain. Although I had many followers there and learned so much about Blogger, WordPress, and Social Media in that place, it didn’t feel right for me. So I started this blog from scratch. It was a big leap, but I feel my heart in this one. I hope to meet and keep new friends through here. Because, if you’re a SAHM like me, you know just how small (and sometimes lonely) the world can be. But the internet is a place with no walls.
