- Key DifferentiatorAbout The GetDPI Workshop forums were initiated in response to requests from workshop participants for a localized, web-based area where workshop participants could easily interact with each other. It is an area where friends made on a workshop can keep in touch socially, or have lengthy discussions on photographic concepts, gear, processing techniques or image feedback, but more importantly, it is an environment where friends can have those discussions free from the rudeness that pervades most online forums today. (This is why there is a private section reserved exclusively for the use of GetDPI workshop participants. By attending any GetDPI workshop, you automatically gain lifetime access to this private forum.) Guy and I believed that those same ideals would be of interest to our entire group of photography friends, so we opened up these forums and now offer them and the album area to you in that spirit. In fact, we liked the wording of the ideals so much, we’ve adopted it as our mission statement: “A place to exchange ideas, techniques, experiences AND images, where the discussions are fun, respectful and geared toward the goal of helping each other improve all aspects of our photography.” Welcome, and please enjoy YOUR new forum!
