    My name is Camille Gabel and I am 30-something wife, blogger and stay at home mom to Ella (2006) and Miles (2008). My husband, Mitch, and I have been married for over a decade and we have lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for almost that entire time. I hail from the great state of Michigan (Go Blue!), but can’t say that I miss the weather. Ella Linq 5 Prior to blogging and mommyhood, I worked for a small tour operator (a type of travel agency) and had the amazing opportunity to travel in the Middle East. While that job was the best one I’ve ever had, I decided I needed to find a job that could actually pay the bills so I went to law school. It was during law school that I met and married my husband. After graduating from law school, we moved to Arizona and finally landed in Las Vegas. We love living in Las Vegas and I love sharing a “native” side to the city on my blog. Bryce Wish You Were Here 2 I started this blog in 2007 as a means of sharing our lives with our families on the east coast. I started discovering other blogs and realized that I loved blogging! It provides me with an outlet for sharing my writing and creativity. I am a busy mom and wife and the older I get, the less time I seem to have. Trust me, if I can cook, create, sew, make, and go – then so can you! I am almost entirely a self-taught cook, knitter and crafter and learned because I wanted to. I hope that what I share here is an inspiration that you can do it, too! Lightening McQ I am passionate about University of Michigan sports, knitting, and traveling. I hope someday to get back to traveling the world but for now our travel involves national parks, tents and an occasional theme park.
