Who we are It’s simple … Handmade Saskatchewan is a member based community uniting local crafters/artisans and their customers. Saskatchewan’s handmade community is growing! More and more people are looking to shop local but don’t know where to look. Handmade Saskatchewan’s goal is to bring the customers to the handmade artisans, help customers find handmade products, offer business advise to crafters, and more! We want to see Saskatchewan’s handmade community thrive! Who is Handmade Saskatchewan? My name is Nell Anderson. I live in Regina, SK and have been a part of the handmade scene for many years. I run a successful stationery business from home and I also design jewelry in my spare time. I have a degree in Graphic Design and Internet Specialist courses. I want to help other handmade businesses in Saskatchewan achieve success! My skills are at your disposal! Please read below for more information about our upcoming plans … Featured Businesses Every week on Sunday a new handmade business will be featured on our blog. I will try my best to allow a variety of businesses to be featured. Please be patient as many requests come in and I try to accommodate everyone. If you’d like to be featured, please feel free to contact me. Worried about costs? Me too! For now, I’m doing this free. I will always TRY to keep it free. I know what it’s like to start up a handmade business and the advertising funds are not always there. I will do my best to promote your businesses for you. All I ask is that you help to promote Handmade Saskatchewan in turn. When featured, I will provide you with a badge to display in your shop or website. Handmade businesses struggle in many areas, including branding, advertising, marketing, bookkeeping and more. We’d love to feature anyone as a guest blogger who can shed a light on those areas. Handmade Saskatchewan is run on a volunteer basis. I try my best to offer great opportunities to handmade businesses. My goal is to help Saskatchewan’s artisan community thrive and gain the exposure it deserves. We have some of the best creatives in the country and they deserve to have a place to gain valuable business advice and showcase their products!
