The Founders HBCU Lifestyle is led by Richard and Garrick Gibson, a father and son team with a passion for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). They are both proud graduates of Florida A&M University (FAMU) in Tallahassee, FL. Keeping the tradition alive, the third-generation son is currently attending FAMU with an anticipated graduation date of 2016. Richard and Garrick are both married to loving and supportive women who both attended Tuskegee University in Alabama. About Richard Richard Gibson, Jr., Co-Founder at HBCU LifestyleRichard is an alumnus of Florida A&M University with a degree in Business Administration. His background includes tenure as an entrepreneur in catering, wholesale apparel distribution and an online business. Other ventures include time spent as a food service manager and as a public administrator. His hobbies include gardening, reading and writing non-fiction short stories. About Garrick Garrick Gibson, Co-Founder at HBCU LifestyleGarrick is an alumnus of Florida A&M University with a degree in graphic design, journalism and print management. He currently works as an information designer in Jacksonville, Florida. He has a passion for design and personal development. Garrick’s personal interests include running, blogging, technology, marketing, communications, personal development, wellness and entrepreneurism. Why HBCU Lifestyle?
