    Hi! My name is Lynna (pronounced lee-nuh) and I`m a huge foodie! I`m also a recent college graduate living in Southern California. I started baking almost three years ago. Before then, it was all frozen cookie dough and box mixes for me. I have always wanted to learn how to bake, but my family didn`t have many baking essentials. An opportunity came about when I moved to a college apartment my 2nd year. I went from having 0 baking pans to about 15 (and counting!). I started baking so much, it became a therapy and need for me. It also evolved into a whole new learning experience and journey. Each time I`m in the kitchen, I`m practicing, learning, and creating. Sometimes, I mess up--but, that`s part of the whole learning experience, right? :) On Thanksgiving of 2011, I had no idea what to make for the potluck I was having with my friends. Well, it was more, like, I didn`t know what I could make. Fast forward a year and I had over 5 recipes in mind for our annual potluck! (If you are wondering, I ended up making 3 dishes!) Then, Thanksgiving of 2013, I cooked all the side dishes and desserts for my family`s Thanksgiving dinner! The knowledge I have gained from baking consistently has really improved my knowledge in the kitchen. And, I just love it! Three years ago, I couldn`t even separate an egg, or knew you could make your own vanilla extract...but I have grown so much in this food journey of mine. If I could learn and grow that much, I believe anyone can. So, whether you`re new to baking, or an experienced home cook, I hope you`ll learn something here. I`ll be nothing, but thrilled, if you could take away something from following along and learning with me. :D Food is a great way to bring people together and a delicious way to show the people important in your life, that you care for them.
