    Hi, I’m Heather and I like food (Hi Heather!). Thanks for stopping by my little space on the web. My goal on Heather Likes Food is to give you the inspiration, recipes, tips and tricks that you need to be able to eat incredibly everyday. I’m a firm believer that you don’t need to spend hours in the kitchen or lots of money on fancy ingredients to make quality meals. Usually with a little know-how, the simplest ingredients make the best food. I’ve been working in the food industry for the past 10 years and have bounced all over the place from sandwich shops to culinary school to running my own catering business and becoming a wedding cake decorator. Right now I’m taking some time off to be mom to my 2 little girls and to help my husband through his schooling. HLF is my creative outlet and gives me a chance to keep my toes wet in the food world by developing recipes, learning about food photography, and prevents me from becoming complacent in my kitchen. Since starting the blog about 2 1/2 years ago and then REALLY starting it again in April 2012, I have had more fun than I’d ever imagined possible from running a website. I’ve traveled, been published, and worked with so many great companies, but most importantly I’ve been able to interact with you, my amazing readers.
