Karen co-founded DogVacay.com with her husband Aaron Hirchhorn. DogVacay.com is an online startup, where you can find a real home for your dog to stay when you travel. Launched in March of 2012, this superior alternative to the kennel has disrupted the market, gained international press coverage, won several start up conference awards, and has grown into a community of thousands of dog lovers. Karine completed her undergraduate work in photography and journalism at the George Washington University and her Masters in Directing from the American Film Institute. She has worked with William Morris, HBO and several other notable networks and production companies. She is also the founder and main instructor at Act Write Direct Workshops, a filmmaking and acting class series. Karine also co-founded BetterYou.com, an online fitness site, where you can find amazing fitness, beauty, and wellness providers. Born in Israel, Karine has lived in Italy, New York, New Jersey, Spain, Washington, D.C., Miami and now Los Angeles.
