About us: Hi, I am Dawn. I’m married to a wonderful man. Together we made 3 beautiful children. Brooke is 9 years old, Madison (Maddie Jean) is 5 years old, and Wyatt is 3 years old. I stay at home raising my three children and attend to household duties. I enjoy nature and growing a garden. Nothing is more relaxing than going horseback riding at a friends house. When I’m not busy with the kids, house, or blog you can usually find me in the kitchen or looking through cookbooks. Another favorite past time of mine is exercising. The two things I love to collect are cookbooks and exercise videos. I am always on the weight loss kick since I love food. And with that love of food comes the food reviews. I love to review and try foods! My husband is a senior network engineer. He’s very good at what he does. When he gets free time you can usually find him in the pole barn working on something or out fishing. He loves to fish and hunt and cannot wait for the kids to get older so he can teach them how to hunt. He’s a great dad that loves to spend time with the kids. You can usually find one by his side when he’s out walking the property or doing something around the house. Anything you put in front of him he can figure it out. We don’t have to hire electricians or handymen because he is one. He is also amazing at wood working. I’m impatiently awaiting my shelf over my desk, my breadbox, and my spice cabinet. (tapping foot) Brooke is 9 years old. She is currently taking ballet, jazz, and hip hop dance classes. When she is not dancing she is doing something else athletic. She loves skating. She likes to play dress up. She likes the iPad and iPod. She is like most 8 year old girls. Her likes change day to day. Currently her “thing” is going fishing with daddy. She is getting more girly though and loves to paint her fingernails. Madison is 5 years old. She is also taking ballet classes. Her favorite color is purple. She is into many different things too. Her favorite is Dora the Explorer. I have a few dora games installed on their computer and she loves to play them. She loves to swing on the swing set. Wyatt is 3. He loves Thomas the Train and cars. I am currently potty training him for night time. He is a very active boy. He loves to swing on the swings. We only have 2 so usually Brooke is the one to push Wyatt. She taught him how to swing. We are currently doing home improvements on the house we moved into over Thanksgiving 2010. The house was built in the 80′s so it needs some updating. Wyatt is currently sleeping in the girls’ room. We have to make a bedroom for ourselves this winter and move Wyatt to his own room. It’s only a 2 bedroom house. We are going to make the sun room our bedroom. So sometime soon I will be designing a boys bedroom for the first time. We also have a cat named Willow. She is a former feral. She is a sweetheart. We are currently searching for the litter box that will keep the smell down since we are in a small house. We have her litter box in a tiny bathroom and each time she goes potty it stinks the house up. PR Friendly Reviews: I love to review family friendly and eco friendly products.
