While we pride ourselves on being true experts on the top meeting destinations and venues in North America and beyond, we also provide our readers and site visitors with a wealth of resources that help make their jobs, and lives, easier.

In addition to our monthly print and digital editions of Meetings Focus - with destination coverage custom-tailored to the regions our subscribers plan in - we also keep our website (www.meetingsfocus.com) updated with industry news, blogs and other useful content. In addition, the site contains a backlog of informative articles, plus detailed overviews of destinations and venues.

He has a B.A. in Journalism from San Francisco State University, where he worked in various editorial capacities on its award-winning student magazine, Prism. Lori has worked in publishing for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Meetings Focus, she worked as a freelance writer and editor specializing in travel-related content for trade and consumer publications and websites, and she spent eight years as an editor at Travel Weekly and TravelAge magazines, where she covered all regions of the U.S., as well as Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America, New Zealand and the South Pacific. In her travels, she has reported on a wide range of topics, from general-interest tourism and business travel to adventure and ecotourism, food and wine, and luxury vacations. Lori has a B.A. in Journalism from San Francisco State University, where she served as executive editor and in other editorial positions for Prism, the university's award-winning student magazine. She graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where she interned at Outdoor Life magazine in New York City, worked with what is now the Chicago Innocence Project investigating potential wrongful conviction cases, and spent time abroad in Uganda and Chile studying community development and social justice. Eric AndersenEric Andersen e-Media Content Developer Cedar Rapids, IA eric.andersen@meetingsfocus.com Eric started his professional writing career at The Daily Iowan while attending The University of Iowa in Iowa City. During his time at the newspaper, he wrote for the Arts & Culture section, writing articles primarily on the literary and music beats. He was quickly promoted to the role of assistant events editor and eventually arts editor, before graduating with degrees in journalism and marketing. Post-college, Eric accepted a job at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in financial services, but he missed the journalism industry, so he continued to write about current events and music in his spare time on two self-managed blogs. Eventually, he saw an opening for e-Media Content Developer at Stamats Communications in Cedar Rapids and was hired on full time. As e-Media Content Developer for Meetings Focus, Eric writes feature and destination pieces, oversees the publication’s social media efforts, and figures out new ways to drive traffic to the publication’s website. Chris TorresChris Torres Editorial Assistant San Francisco, CA chris.torres@meetingsfocus.com Chris Torres was born and raised in Northern California’s Wine Country, where he started his professional life in the culinary field at 15. He earned his AA in English Literature from Santa Rosa Junior College and his BA in Journalism and History from San Francisco State University, where he also served both on the Journalism Department’s Student Advisory Board and the editorial staff of the student magazine, [X]Press. During this time, he helped spearhead the successful production of an entirely digital issue of the magazine—something the department now does regularly. Chris also spent time covering San Francisco’s arts and culture scene for SF Weekly, where he worked closely with the magazine’s Arts and Culture department to assemble a digest of the week’s most notable events in the city and produce stories both for print and online editions.
