mental health matters (MHMatters) was purchased by Carron Consulting on October 1, 2010. While the ownership of the website has changed, the high standards set by Sean will be kept up. With the change in ownership we expect to be making changes to the website to bring on more authors and content. The goals of the site remain the same and MHMatters will remain focused on providing information to those coping with mental illness.

While the percentage of people facing a diagnosable Mental Disorder in any given year is substantial, the acceptance of these problems can be hard to come by. Essentially, Mental Health Issues are hidden illnesses. The need for an anonymous avenue for consumers and supporters to gather information is very real and very large.Mental Health Matters was founded and run for 5 years by Judy Castelli. Judy sold the site in June of 2001 in order to focus on her other site, Looking Inside: Life Lessons From a Multiple Personality in Pictures and Words. As the new owners, our goals for the site are not much different from Judy’s. We would like to see the site grow and flourish into the best Mental Health resource on the web.
