About
The Merced Sun-Star was founded in 1869 as the San Joaquin Valley Argus. The paper moved to Merced a year later and, after a series of acquisitions and name changes, became the Merced Sun-Star in 1926. Dean Lesher bought the paper in the 1930s and ushered in the newspaper’s modern era. In 1971, the Sun-Star moved from its downtown location to the current G Street site. The paper was sold to U.S. Media in 1985 and was acquired by The McClatchy Company in January of 2004.
Merced is home to the University of California’s 10th and newest campus, which opened in the fall of 2005 and represents the first American research university built in the 21st century.

Notification doesn't open article.
This app is pretty good. The one major complaint is that when I click on a notification I am taken to the home page, not the article referenced in the notification.

They had app and worse apps support
I have tried both this app and the app for iPad each works for a few days and then I get error messages your device is not authorized for this application even though I have a press plus digital account I am I have contacted both press plus and the Merced SunStar their support is very poor.

Great App
Looks great on the iPhone 6, only thing that would be nice, if a notification is pressed on it should go to the actual news story rather than just opening the App. Since sometimes it's hard to find the articles that were in the notification.

Stop charging for online use!
This app is ok. Nothing to brag about. No video options. But charging for a mediocre paper? Especially online? I'll move to another app instead of this one.
