About MomAdvice.com MomAdvice MomAdvice is a community for women that are looking for ways to stay organized, stay sane, and stay within their budget. MomAdvice founder, Amy Allen Clark, was searching for information on problems that arise in a mother's every day life, but could not find a site out there that catered to everything that she was looking for. Amy decided to pool talents with her web designer husband and create a site that offered this information for mothers and a safe web community where mothers could chat. With this vision, and her husband’s knack for design, MomAdvice was born. MomAdvice was officially launched January 2004. MomAdvice receives visitors from all over the world looking for information on topics such as these and they also offer a forum where members can discuss and share their own tips with each other. We here at MomAdvice continue to expand our site and we look forward to providing more useful services to our community in the future. Shaina Olmanson Shaina Olmanson is the freelance writer, photographer, and home cook behind Food for My Family. Cooking daily with and for her four kids and husband, Ole, drives her desire to inspire other families to do the same. Food for My Family has been named one of the Top 100 Mom Food Blogs by Babble.com for the past four years. Shaina is the author of Desserts in Jars: 50 Sweet Treats that Shine, has served as the food editor for Lifetime Moms, and contributes regularly to a variety of online sites and traditional print magazines. She lives in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, an urban oasis surrounded by farms and fields of green. Jami Boys - Managing Editor Jami Boys is a blogger, virtual assistant, and passionate do-it-yourselfer who lives in the green, lovely, and often rainy Pacific Northwest with her husband and two children. Whether it's baking bread, creating a floor from paper and glue, or growing vegetables and canning them, Jami's done it and written about it. She's happiest transforming old stuff into something new and beautiful and then photographing it for her readers at AnOregonCottage.com where she shares all this while attempting to live simply and embrace everyday life.
