MountainProject.com is the second generation combination of those climbing sites. It was founded in 2005 by two longtime climbing buddies and business partners, Andy Laakmann and Nick Wilder. By partnering with Myke and extending the original vision, Mountain Project aims to take climbing beta beyond the guidebook, and deliver personalization and community features for climbers across the globe.
