I am a MUM IN AWE. In awe of the wonderfully awesome (and sometimes terrible) things that kids and parents can do. I try to be more awe-inspiring than aw(e)ful, but some days we can all be both. I love seeing the potential in my kids and trying to coax it out of them, and I’m not exactly subtle in my ways and words, but hopefully this site will give you tips, hints, and something to think about. I write about parenting, ways to save money, also opinion pieces on family, parenting and relationship issues, and recipes. I also do reviews on books relevant to the site. I have 2 kids, a partner who also has a child, and we are adjusting to the ways of a blended family. It’s not easy, but it’s the best decision I ever made – for me anyway. We live near a forest, and the sea and we’re fortunate we do.
