Octopart is a Y Combinator-backed startup based out of New York City. We develop search technology to help engineers and scientists build electronic circuits.

We aggregate data from distributors and manufacturers of electronic components and make it available via our website (http://octopart.com) and via our API (http://octopart.com/api).

Our mission is to open up access to part data for design, sourcing and manufacturing.

Very Helpful!

An awesome tool for PCB development and circuit design. I deal with lots of obsolete schematics and this app helps find data sheets and track down components that aren't in the major suppliers inventory.
