About The Diva Hello and welcome to the Organic Deal Diva! Here’s some answers to questions you might have about this blog! Why did I create this blog? I’m an organic food fan and became tired of hearing everyone say that eating organic is too expensive. Well, I’m here to disprove that notion by sharing organic food coupons! I encourage you to compare prices with coupons and you’ll see that it’s really not as expensive as people say to eat organic! I also love to shop, so I like to think anyone reading my blog also enjoys shopping hence the shopping deals! Who am I? I live in Colorado (in the Denver suburbs) with my husband, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. (We don’t have a white picket fence, but I would love one if our HOA allowed it! :) I am a full time mom, pediatric RN and some of the time (ok most of the time) online deal hunter. I LOVE to shop, as I mentioned above! This love of shopping can be expensive, so in order to avoid paying full price for anything I’m always looking for a good deal. I run across so many I thought it would be nice to share them with everyone else. Look how thoughtful I am! I believe that consumers should be involved and informed about what they are spending their money on and what food they are putting into their bodies. I also feel we all deserve the best bang for our buck! Coupon shopping is not for the crazy people only, it’s for the budget savvy shopper! What kind of posts will you find on the The Online Deal Diva? My biggest pet peeve when finding deals online is a post that says something similar to this: Crest Complete with Scope Toothpaste, 2.7 oz $2.49 Use $2.00/1 Crest Complete Toothpaste from SS 9/11 Pay $0.49 – $0.77, Receive $2.00 Extra Bucks Final Price: $1.51 – $1.23 Moneymaker It drives me nuts because if I’m looking for deals online, I want to be able to PRINT out a coupon then and there. I don’t have my coupon insert from 3 months ago! Even if I did, I’m busy, I don’t have the time or energy to find that 1 coupon! SO I only post only coupons, deals, freebies etc. that you can print or use online. Food coupons will only be for Organic foods as I’m not a fan of saving a buck to pump myself or my family full of GMO’s, pesticides and other poisons. (Raise your hand if you agree).
