In my newest role, I oversee the day-to-day operations and provide strategic direction to our company Spice Ladle, Inc based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The mantra of Spice Ladle is to create fresh wholesome gourmet food with an ethnic touch, using natural high quality ingredients. We launch corporate catering in November followed by pre-packaged food early next year.

I will continue to run my food website Peri's Spice Ladle as a freelance writer and recipe developer, specializing in topics related to my native Indian and Parsi cuisines.

My website Peri's Spice Ladle highlights Indian-inspired food for the Global Palate, sharing simple easy-to-follow recipe creations, informative and how-to food articles and world travel adventures.

Prior to this, I've spent ten years in the hospitality industry managing Food and Beverage Operations followed by national and unit level Sales, Marketing, PR and Brand Management positions with the Taj Group of Hotels, India's leading chain and part of the Tata Group.

Highlights of my time with Food and Beverage operations include: fine dining restaurants, corporate club management, catering, banquets & event operations and sales, as well as representing my hotel chain at international food events.
