- Key DifferentiatorPARTNERSHIP + SPONSORSHIP If you are interested in partnering with So Much to Smile About, please get in touch with me so we can discuss. Sponsorship/advertising space is available as long as I believe the product or company will appeal to my readers. All fashion and style related PR pitches are welcome. So Much to Smile About also accepts (on an approval basis) product samples for blog review or showcase in a post (with full disclosure). I feel strongly about spreading the word of companies and products I believe in and it’s very important to me that I offer honest reviews and only write about products that I like and/or fully endorse! PRESS + EVENTS Finally, I am always open to working with online and print media as a contributor or to cover relevant events in the DC area, schedule permitting. If you would like me to act as a host or sponsor for your event or would like help spreading the word about an event, please email me all relevant information and I’ll respond as soon as I can. Despite rumors to the contrary, DC is actually a very stylish city and I love supporting local art/fashion/music events. I started So Much to Smile About in 2010 as a way to store and share fashion and beauty trends I love along with street style and blogger inspiration, shopping picks, and everything else that makes me smile. Since its inception, So Much to Smile About has been featured on multiple media outlets, including Refinery29, Fashion Washington Magazine, Guest of a Guest, Northern Virginia Magazine, and Washingtonian Magazine. I have also appeared as an expert on Fox 5 News, Let’s Talk Live, and am a co-founder of CapFABB (Capital Area Fashion & Beauty Bloggers), a network for DC area fashion and beauty bloggers that now has over 600 members. For more on CapFABB, please click here. For a complete list of press and other features, click here. Outside of the blog and my day job in communications, I spend any free time studying law, taking photos, listening to live music, brunching, and wandering around my amazing DC neighborhood. Before ending up in DC, I went to school in Nebraska and grew up in Wisconsin (which explains my love of cheese, dislike for long winters, and that I’m a huge Green Bay Packer fan). I’m also a fan of any Barenaked Ladies song, everything worn by Taylor Tomasi Hill or Emmanuelle Alt, all Isabel Marant or Alexander McQueen, wrap dresses, worn-in band tees, a nude lip (or alternatively, Chanel’s Rouge Coco Shine in Chance), the serial comma, skinny cropped pants, and the single sole stiletto.
