    About Me Welcome to So Very Blessed! My name is Becky and this is my humble little corner of the internet. Pull up a chair, grab a cookie, and stay awhile. There are probably a few things you should know about me. Well, 10 things, to be exact. 1. My kitchen is my happy place. I love food. I love eating it, taking pictures of it, and experimenting with recipes. 2. Except for bananas, which I hate with a passion. 3. I adore my dog, Boots. He’s my right hand man (er…dog) 4. I’m a sign language interpreter by day. I call English my first language and ASL (American Sign Language) my heart language, because I can express myself so much easier in sign. You’ll often find me signing to you, whether you know sign language or not. I have to sit on my hands to stop, which just isn’t comfortable. 5. I love moose. There’s really no reason or rhyme to this obsessions, but I find them completely adorable and intriguing, which is why our house is heavily adorned with moose paraphernalia. 6. “So Very Blessed” is an entirely accurate description of my life. I try my darndest to be kind, encouraging, and bless others every chance I get. I love Jesus. I love people. And I love giving people the benefit of the doubt, because it’s a much happier way to live. 7. I currently live in Arizona, but my hope is that I’ll move back to Colorado to live near my family (they make my world go ’round) soon. I have some amazing friends here, but Arizona is dirty, prickly, and full of poisonous, slithery creatures. I’m counting down the days. 8. I don’t like soda, because carbonation makes my mouth feel funny. I live off of water with Mio. 9. I am a planner. I like to know what’s going to happen ahead of time so that I can be prepared. My planner is color-coded and quite full to help me keep my life in order, because I’m scatter brained and if I don’t write it down, I’ll forget about it. 10. I am a very sensitive, optimistic, empathetic, and analytical person. I have also been referred to as a verbal ninja. You’ve been warned.
