Whilst researching the teen market for a new book project, the creator of Teen Days Out discovered a gap in the market for a web site focusing on things for the teens to do. Keen to capitalise upon this market opportunity TeenDaysOut.co.uk (TDO) was soon created.
Although a number of successful days out sites targeting children/parents already exist, the valuable 6 million+ teen UK market had been ignored, until now.
Both teenagers and parents are encouraged to use the site to find exclusive ideas for days out, gifts, restaurants, holidays, books, films, music and much more.
Rather than being just a taxi service we want parents to join their teens for a day out, but we do understand that sometimes it might be a little embarrassing to be seen out with mum or dad, so it’s OK to go it alone. Don’t forget though to take them out on the odd trip if only to pay for things.
