In a nutshell, MJ (short for Min Jung) cooks; Hungryman (Tim, the husband) eats. Although their lives are full of happenings, this blog is mostly about their foodie adventures. After all, superhero or not, everyone’s gotta eat, right? The Team So has MJ always loved to cook? Puhahaha..that’s funny. She didn’t even know how to crack an egg until high school…no, college. Don’t believe it? Just ask her friends and family who would be astonished if they knew she has a food blog. But wait! Don’t leave yet bc a lot has changed since then. After she married Hungryman and completely uprooted to a new city, Austin (the home of Hungryman’s alma mater), she found herself at a loss. She couldn’t find a job. It didn’t help that she didn’t know what she wanted to pursue career-wise. She didn’t know anyone. She basically stayed home with her best friend, Kona, a miniature schnauzer (a.k.a her black shadow) and watched the Food Network all day long. She was hooked. Inspired she was. As a control freak, she claimed the kitchen as her domain. The Hungryman was forbidden to enter. Thus began her newly ignited passion. As Hungryman was diagnosed with a heart condition (Type 2 second degree AV block), MJ began dabbling in healthful cooking and creating “lightened-up” versions of his favorites. What fun she had! From there, she decided to pursue a career as a dietitian. She is currently working on her Master’s in Nutrition and have started her 10 month dietetic internship . She couldn’t be happier. have completed her dietetic internship and became a Registered Dietitian as of August 2014
