We understand that not every person is capable of moving to the country and growing a large garden, so we strive to encourage gardening no matter where a person lives—whether the reader lives in an apartment, the suburbs, or out in the country with land of their own. Through our posts on in-depth gardening, simple living, garden-based recipes, do-it-yourself projects, and permaculture, our readers are inspired to learn new skills, grow healthy food, and expand their self-sufficiency. We hope to add farm animal husbandry and beekeeping to the list sometime in the next 2 years. Since its beginning in late 2011, The Best Gardening is starting to grow. We feel like our stats are pretty respectable… and they’re steadily increasing. Compared to this time last year, we’ve increased viewership by nearly 500%.
