The Chocolate Voice Magazine is an online publication that uniquely and proudly showcases strictly positive news within the multi-cultural community. Whether it is arts and entertainment, travel, local business or everyday heroes, we strive to enhance the vibrancy of our readers’ lives through showcasing the stories that enlighten and inspire us. Our goal is to portray images and messages of people of color in a positive light while providing readers with information that is relevant, timely, and useful. We appeal to the multifaceted needs of people who are on the move, open to new ideas, and striving to empower themselves, which makes us informative, insightful and inspirational. Based out of Southern California, the online and in print publication was founded by Chula Vista, CA resident and former Tucson Arizona resident Gwen Pierce and mom, Lula Hunter. The Chocolate Voice was established to communicate positive articles that sweeten the soul as they relate to personal experiences relating to the African American and multicultural community.
