The Period Blog is a global reference and resource for girls and women of all ages to learn about their bodies, periods, and ovulation. We feature in-depth feminine hygiene product reviews, photos, tutorials, and diagrams, along with educational articles on topics such as Anatomy, Beginner’s Guide to Periods, Girl Code, and STIs & other infections.
The Period Blog was founded in 2011 by Dedy Wong, who is also the editor-in-chief, after finding a lack of feminine and menstrual health resources online for young women.
Our Mission
Most people don’t speak openly about menstrual health because it is presumably vulgar but The Period Blog strongly believes that knowledge and education should not be hindered by such taboos.

The Period Blog is committed to providing accurate menstrual health information, informative feminine product reviews, and strongly supports and encourages girls and women of all ages to ask questions and support one another as we learn about our bodies.
The Period Blog strives to bring a fun and positive light to young feminine health.

Dedy Wong (Founder, Editor-in-Chief)
Dedy lives in Vancouver, BC and is a 2014 graduate of the University of British Columbia with a B.A. in Psychology. She is the blogger, writer, photographer, and tester for all the reviews and articles on the blog.
Her menstrual cycle is around 35 to 40 days long and she has tried just about everything from menstrual cups to reusable pads.

Luna
Luna just started her period not long ago but she is quickly learning everything about periods. She is so excited to share what she has learned to help you learn more about your body and to guide you through our tutorials!
Luna’s menstrual cycle is 28 days long but is a little irregular as she just started.
