    I am a stay at home mom who loves to cook and bake and who loves to write. I decided to combine those interests into this blog, where I’d like to think I am talking to my readers while I am cooking and baking (and truly I have been known to talk to myself while in the kitchen). And of course I also just like to talk about the food I love–more than most people can stand probably. I have also discovered that the more I write, the more what I have to say about food celebrates memories: My own memories of family, life and food, and the memories my family is making every single day. You may have noticed that the food I love can mean almost anything. I am completely unable to put myself in a box when it comes to food so I hope you’ll enjoy my jumping from a rich and indulgent chocolate dessert to a Thai curry to a Spanish tapas dish to Scottish shortbread, but my biggest focuses are international cuisine, one pot meals, cookies and cakes. I also take photos–because we all want to drool over food porn–but I’ll be the first to admit that I am learning all the time as a photographer and so I hope you’ll remember that when you see some of my earliest posts!
