    The Urban Umbrella is a little space on the web that is dedicated to providing bits of inspiration to readers around the globe. Created in 2012, the Urban Umbrella started as a outlet to document everyday life, style inspiration, daily musings, & my personal style. Since then it's changed and taken shape, becoming something that has extended past it's original walls of me-isms, and grown towards something which I hope brings inspiration and encourages confidence to readers. While I was out to dinner with a few friends I was asked "So, what do you want the urban umbrella to accomplish?" and at first I wasn't sure how to answer. It took a few days for me to set focus on just what it was that I hoped The UU would be to those who visited it, and in the end I came up with this: I hope whoever is visiting relates to who I am, and feels inspired to add a bit of luxury (and yes, it can be on a budget - believe me, I'm living on one!) into their lives; I hope that your time here sparks excitement to enjoying creating & building your own personal style; because enjoying your personal style can be incredibly empowering! At the end of all of this, I truly hope that after reading the UU you're left with a smile and maybe even a little giddy eagerness to play dress up each day! A BIT ABOUT ME: I'm Bree, a born & raised fashion-lover from the beautiful city Vancouver. I love trying out little coffee shops (so far, Revolver & Prado are my favourites), spending sunshiny days being a beach-bum, spending the rainy ones (and we have a lot here in Raincouver!) splashing through puddles in my Vancouver-must-have rainboots & trying out new wine bars like the Vancouver Urban Winery.
