    Vaol.it was founded in May 2003 by the initiative of a group of people with the aim of promoting, developing and enhancing communication between the social and public realities of the Italian-Swiss area, with particular attention to the Interreg regions (Valchiavenna, Bregaglia switzerland, Mesolcina and Regio Via Mala) and Valtellina. The editorial structure created in these years is nothing but an extremely versatile media container, whose strength lies in the constant and daily work of updating the contents and the contribution of opinions provided by the readers. Working in a sector as complex - but at the same time fascinating - like that of the Internet, becomes extremely productive - both in terms of visits and service to the community - when information, news and contents reflect the vitality in an adherent way of a community, the interests and the very soul of a geographically well defined territory even if belonging to different nations. The goal of Vaol.it is to want to be an instrument of free communication and always available, open to people, associations, institutions and their ideas. In support of this project, in 2005, a cultural association was born that has the same name as the newspaper, whose purpose is precisely that of fostering communication and confrontation between people through the spaces of the online magazine.
