Prior to launching Viva Fashion, Carmen worked as an entertainment and fashion reporter for a live Spanish-language news magazine show in Miami, Florida. Today she works as a sought-after spokesperson for top brands. She was also one of 70 Latina bloggers invited to The White House in May of 2012. Her goal is to empower women through fashion, teaching them they don't have to spend a million to look like a million and travels across the U.S. participating in conferences and speaking engagements. She is currently working on a book. Carmen graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Florida International University and currently resides in Miami, Florida with her husband, newborn son and two dogs.
