About
VVN Music began in October 2006 as Vintage Vinyl News, an offshoot of a retail page for selling older vinyl and music memorabilia. By late-2007, the site had gone to full-time status covering news, reviews and information on those artists that we consider as "veterans," having recorded for 25 years or more. It has been our intention to shine the spotlight on those artists in the genres of rock, pop, country, R&B/soul, folk and blues that have stood the test of time, survived the often punishing world of entertainment and continue to record and perform. We also cover archive recordings by those who are no longer in the business or have passed away.
VVN Music is part of a network of sites around the world that includes Music-News.com out of the U.K. and Noise11.com from Australia. Our three sites are able to provide timely updates, through the sharing of breaking stories from three main English-speaking areas of the world and reviews and reports on new releases and tours occurring in each of our countries.
VVN Music also has its own staff of writers, who contribute in their areas of expertise, along with contributions from the writers at our associated websites.
We are always interested in hearing from our readers in regard to the site and its content.
