Eight years ago, Wahanda began a journey with a dream to give customers a better way to book their hair, beauty and spa services. However, the Wahanda group were using five different consumer brand names across 10 countries. We decided the time had come to unite under one brand name. We chose Treatwell because it captures the spirit that has always been at the heart of what we do, the belief that beauty was for everyone.

On January 18th 2016, Wahanda changed its name to Treatwell.

UX issues

Today i have happened to be one unlucky user that only wanted to order the "Microblading" and spend 30 mins. Instead i spent around two hours that includes writing this review. If you filter per this keyword, you might see how irrelevant the search results will be. You will not only see salons that do not offer this service at all, but will also have to check each salon page separately in order to see the price of the service. This is the most inconvenient and time consuming way to do this. Or what is the purpose of the filter at all? Even though i do realize that each salon calls the services differently, but why not to hire a content manager/copywriter that unifies the service namings and those will be searchable and relevant? Same goes to IPL services. The timerange filter doesn't work either on both desktop and app. If i have chosen the preferred day Saturday, the search results will contain salons that do not work on Saturday at all. The heart icon is sometimes overlapping the text. When im on the screen with choosing a date - why the first overview is week, not a month? Personally, i find this very impractical. Also, why not to show the unavailable days in like another contrasting colour? Another big issue is vouchers. Tried 2 vouchers, offered as a part of Vorteile program from my company, but its a bummer - its only for services until 100 eur. Another Vouchers that were found on the internet that were supposed to work wouldn't work either. In the end any possible voucher i used, returned about 4 different error types, and i ended up with ordering a service by the full price as a NEW customer. So why sharing vouchers with your coupon partners that simply do not work or have all kinds if limitations that prevent using the voucher at all? UI, content, search results, coupons - made my experience with the app heavily unpleasant. Hope you find the review helpful though.

Insgesamt Gut

Ich benutze öfters die App für Termine. Man kann viele gute Angebote finden und online bezahlen. Öfters bekommt man einen 5€ Gutschein per E-Mail. Aber die Suchfunktion nach bestimmten Behandlungen funktioniert nicht richtig.
