Not only that, we feel others should feel and share that passion for what we are accomplishing as a people and as a society, and aim to instill that passion in our readers through our own profound love of these fields and the amazing work being done in each of them.

We’ll primarily be focusing on the technological advancements in the following fields:

The internet is often overlooked when it comes to advancements, yet it is still the very backbone on which our global economy relies, and even seemingly minor advancements can affect commerce and productiivity in a big way.

Gear and Gadgets
Wearable technology is the next big thing in computing, making this category particulary exciting. We are just now entering a new age where scientific and medical advancements will see us wearing computers on our wrists, sporting headbands that can read our minds, and using prosthetic limbs that will feel as natural as the ones we were born with.

Gaming and Entertainment
Advances in entertainment tend to come a lot slower than in the other fields, and even gaming, which saw breakneck growth through the 1980’s, 90’s, and 2000’s, has settled into a more measured pace now. With virtual reality gaming on the horizon however, that pace is set to potentially explode again, bringing all manner of new gaming possibilities and experiences to players starved for something fresh.

Security and Privacy
Security and privacy will continue to be at the forefront of many people’s thoughts when it comes to technological advancements, and for every advance, new questions over security and privacy are raised that need to be addressed. It’s one of those topics that will never reach an endpoint; it is and will forever be constantly evolving and changing to meet the current needs of society.

Perhaps the most important field of all, scientific breakthroughs allow us to better understand ourselves, our planet, and our universe; our past, our present, and our future, as well as advance the way we care for ourselves, treat diseases and injuries, and so much more.
