  • Key Differentiator
I’m a Jersey girl! Born and bred. Lived here all my life except for the four years I attended the University of Pittsburgh. I am married to a hard working farmer (New Jersey is the Garden State afterall.) Anthony and I have two beautiful children, Gabby – 15 and AJ – 12, who know EVERYTHING. They really don’t, but they think they do. I love them all the same and we count our blessings everyday. I live and work on our family’s 500 acre fruit and vegetable farm which was founded by my husband’s grandfather in 1940. We have two busy retail markets as well as a large wholesale operation. Pretty much our entire family works on the farm. We work hard and I am proud to say that our produce gets shipped all over the country. We also have 2 acres of greenhouses in which we grow spring bedding plants, mums and poinsettias. As you can guess, things get pretty hectic on the farm. Life is good. Here is a link to our website, www.russosfruitandveg.com, in case you want to check us out. I worked in the healthcare PR field for 12 years. I enjoyed it but wanted the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom. I love anything Disney. My family thinks I am a little “Disney” obsessed but it makes me happy, and life is about happiness. Right? My blog is a leap of faith. This has been something I have thought about for the longest time, but was afraid to do. Now that I have jumped, I plan to write about the great big garden that surrounds me (our farm), share my favorite recipies using our Jersey Fresh produce, provide some plant and garden tips and even rant and rave about kids, family life, farm life and everything in between. Thanks for checking me out. PR & ADVERTISING I am happy that your are interested in working with How Does Your Garden Grow? / thefarmgirlgabs.com.
