EVERYTHING HBCU, HBCU Buzz is an promotional-progressive brand that promotes HBCU pride and HBCU unity in order to enhance the black college experience and uplift the perception of America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities. HBCUBuzz provides the public with news about all black colleges and universities by strategically utilizing references from schools, organizations, and media outlets. From the perspective of current HBCU students, several journalists heavily involved in the black community administer articles reflecting the guidelines of our mission.

The Buzz hosts and promotes several annual events that reinforce its mission by unifying students in the HBCU community across 19 states and the District of Columbia. In addition, the Buzz Foundation, the non-­‐profit affiliate of HBCU Buzz is committed to advancing academic opportunities for all minority students so that they have the educational background that they need to compete and succeed in today’s dynamic job market.
