About So I guess I was not meant to stay in one place. I was born and raised till I was 7 in Traer, Iowa. Part of me misses that simple life with family and friends….We then moved to Skaneateles, New York for 4 years. My dad was not military – Just a John Deere employee. Centerburg, Ohio came next and that is where my parents and brother and sister still remain. I like Ohio – but loved moving to Sanford, North Carolina even more! There I married military and stayed for 9 years….now I am in Anchorage, Alaska and am learning how to deal! I have found out that I need something to do. While in Iowa I had gymnastics, New York was cheerleading, Ohio was soccer, gymnastics and horses. I did all of this competitively. I thrived on it. In North Carolina I had kids, which you could say is a competition to not lose yourself, and then I found running. Here it is too dang cold to run….so now what? I thrive on pushing myself to be the best that I can be – I have three daughters that need a good role model, so who better than me?! I like to push the limits to see positive change, and do it all the while working, taking care of my family, and living a life with fun and lots of passion. Parenting, education, fitness, military life, and all around randomness is what I strive for and I hope you enjoy it! I do generate income and accept advertising/ads & links on my blog.
