    The New England Historical Society exists to promote interest in New England history and tell the fascinating stories that are unique to our region. Since we launched in 2013, we've had some highlights: June 2013 - New England Historical Society.com was launched. Since then we've had more than 2 million visitors to the site. August 2014 - We launched our weekly email newsletter, with more than 10,000 readers. September 2014 - We launched our calendar of events to promote historic events around New England. More than 1,200 people a month visit each month for ideas about things to see and do. February 2015 - We experienced our busiest day to date, with 19,936 visitors on a single day. The reception of the New England Historical Society had been overwhelming and positive. We look forward to many more years of growth.
