Description:

BigHand Go is an advanced voice recording and workflow system which is designed to extend your office-based dictation capabilities onto the iOS platform and improve your organisation’s remote working efficiency. Tasks can also be created quickly and easily by completing a pre-configured form and attaching any accompanying files. Once in the workflow, tasks can be assigned to a specific team or team member for processing and monitored through to completion.

PLEASE NOTE: BigHand Go is for use with the award-winning BigHand Enterprise System and is not designed to be used as a standalone application. Users must have a BigHand account for full functionality.

Advanced features include:-

-Record speech, edit, insert, overwrite, fast forward or rewind
-Take photos from within the app and attach them automatically to your dictation
-Expedite document production by setting a priority such as low, normal, or high
-Convert your voice-to-text via a server-based engine if no PA support is available
-View your work list and track live progress updates
-Manage your recordings
-Receive automatic notifications about completed documents and review as required
-Forward email attachments using BigHand.
-Intelligent Work Routing: All tasks can be sent to a pre-defined destination with a pre-defined priority

BigHand Go requires version 3.4 and above of the BigHand enterprise system or BigHand Small Business Edition. Please contact your BigHand Account Manager for more details.

iPod Touch 2G and 3G owners will require an external microphone to record dictations.

Less helpful

Upgrade generally good but why is the recorder screen now locked? It was much easier to hold the phone with the microphone at the top, and screen rotated accordingly

Uploading problems

Uploading voice recordings can take hours. Obviously a huge problem.

Great App

Works fantastically with the BigHand workflow system and allows me create and send dictations from anywhere! Awesome!!

Don't touch even with a barge pole

The application seems to have been made in half a day. Complete rubbish, AVOID! Would rate it 0 stars if I could, but that's not an option. Bighand is lucky because of the system to get 1 star. Crap and a waste of time.
