Book in My Pocket

Pocket BCJ is so much easier to carry the beautiful photos of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson on my iphone rather than the heavy books. It makes sharing images of some of my favorite homes easy. There are a handful of images for each project and a little description. This app doesn't have every BCJ project, but it does have some of the finest ones. I consider it a condensed version of my BCJ architectural library.

Needs a bit more.

The app is a great introduction to BCJ's work. Great photos, smart write-ups, good links, with an attractive UI. The map is the most lacking, with very little interaction (ie zoom, etc) The contacts screen could make use of the live phone and email links as well, so people without a pen could call immediately upon deciding they simply must hire BCJ. These are minor things but the app would benefit greatly from them.

Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Core Telephony Framework
Use the Core Telephony framework to obtain information about a user’s home cellular service provider—that is, the provider with whom the user has an account. Carriers can use this information to write applications that provide services only for their own subscribers. You can also use this framework to obtain information about current cellular calls.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.

Quartz Core Framework

ImageKit provides user interface support for browsing, editing, and saving images, showing slideshows, and browsing and previewing Core Image filters. PDFKit is a technology that allows applications to display and manipulate PDF documents.
UIKit
The UIKit framework (UIKit.framework) provides the crucial infrastructure needed to construct and manage iOS apps. This framework provides the window and view architecture needed to manage an app’s user interface, the event handling infrastructure needed to respond to user input, and the app model needed to drive the main run loop and interact with the system.
