English Heritage
We champion historic places. By standing up for historic places, everyone, from individuals and communities to government and major landowners, can look after and care for heritage. We make sure they understand and appreciate the benefits England's heritage brings and why it should be respected, cherished and enhanced. We open up heritage for everyone, using digital resources, media campaigns, our unsurpassed archive, publishing, and exhibitions. We identify and protect our heritage. Protecting historic places through the designation system is at the heart of what we do, as expert advisor to the government. We manage the National Heritage List for England: from its origins in 1882, it has grown to include almost 400,000 items ranging from prehistoric monuments to office blocks, battlefields and parks. They all benefit from legal protection. We support change. We want people to use and enjoy historic places in ways that reveal and reinforce their significance, and safeguard their setting in a wider landscape. Each year we give advice on more than 20,000 applications for planning permission or listed building consent. We help make sure that threats to our heritage are understood, so policies, effort and investment can be targeted effectively. Last year, we provided £13 million in grants to reduce the amount of heritage at risk. We share our understanding of the significance of EnglandÍs places. Using cutting-edge science, research, and information, we help people manage historic places, both physically and economically. We share our knowledge through training, guidance, conservation advice and access to resources, including the Historic England Archive, the biggest national collection of records about the historic environment. We deliver national expertise at a local level. Our staff specialise in assessment, processing grants, giving advice to owners, developers and local authorities, as well as designation, heritage data, and government policy.

Description:

Ever wondered what makes a house Georgian? Or why Soho is so gay?

As part of Historic England's Keep it London campaign, we're keeping the history of London's neighbourhoods alive with a series of walks. Stroll along some of London's best stories and have them brought to life with photos, archive images and sometimes the odd video. We'll also help you identify architectural periods and understand what makes them different.

Download the app to find out about Brixton’s Windrush Generation, the Battle of Cable Street, 130 years of Queer Soho, Post-War architecture in The City, the rise of the railways in Camden and more!

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. We advise you to quit the app when finished.

Accelerate Framework
This document describes the Accelerate framework, which contains C APIs for vector and matrix math, digital signal processing, large number handling, and image processing.
Assets Library Framework
In iOS and OS X, the Photos framework (formerly known as Assets Library framework) provides classes that support building photo editing extensions for the Photos app. In iOS, the Photos framework also provides direct access to the photo and video assets managed by the Photos app, including the iCloud Photo Library. Use this framework to retrieve assets for display and playback, edit their image or video content, or work with collections of assets such as albums, moments, and iCloud Shared Albums.
EventKit
The EventKit framework provides classes for accessing and manipulating calendar events and reminders.
Lockbox
Lockbox is an Objective-C utility class for storing data securely in the keychain. Use it to store small, sensitive bits of data securely.
Metal
Render advanced 3D graphics and perform data-parallel computations. Get fine-grained access to the GPU while minimizing CPU overhead. The Metal Framework provides extremely low-overhead access to the GPU, enabling incredibly high performance for your sophisticated graphics rendering and computational tasks. Metal eliminates many performance bottlenecks—such as costly state validation—that are found in traditional graphics APIs. Metal moves all expensive state translation and compilation operations out of the critical path of your most performance sensitive rendering code. It provides precompiled shaders, state objects, and explicit command scheduling to ensure that your application achieves the highest possible performance and efficiency. Graphics, compute, and blit commands can be used together seamlessly and efficiently. Metal is specifically designed to exploit modern architectural considerations, such as multiprocessing and shared memory, to make it easy to parallelize the creation of GPU commands.
RNCryptor-objc
